The Therapeutic Dosage for Glucosamine Sulfate is 10 mg. per pound of body weight. The average horse will load his system with 10,000 mg. daily for 4 - 6 weeks. Ultra Flex Glucosamine Sulfate is easily absorbed so it loads the body quickly. After the loading period is complete, you can decrease your Light Duty and Pleasure Horse’s dosage to 5,000 mg. daily. Performance (Barrel Racing, Reining, Cutting, Roping, Jumping, Endurance, etc.) Horses may have to be maintained at the therapeutic dosage depending on their condition. Horses with existing Joint, Soft Tissue, and Foot Problems may also need to be kept at the therapeutic dosage.
